BILSTEIN equips sports car manufacturer Zenos

Reasonably priced, lightweight kit cars have been produced in England for more than a century, thrilling drivers with sporting ambitions. For those who prefer motoring to the actual work of building a car, the company has ready-made sports car gems available at affordable prices. The start-up company Zenos Cars has been making its mark since 2012, alongside famous car makers who have been known for decades. Only BILSTEIN coilover suspensions are used at Zenos. Here's a brief company history: A few years ago, a group of industry insiders came up with a plan to build an exclusive, yet affordable sports car. Right from the outset, the team concentrated on an extremely light construction and high-quality components from experienced suppliers, to ensure satisfactory driving performance and optimal momentum.

The open E10 model (203 PS), started in 2014, now available from GBP 27,000 (approx. EUR 30,000), was the first of its kind with an innovative hybrid frame and outer skin made of recycled carbon. Customers seeking higher performance could later choose from more powerful models, E10 S, with 253 PS and the 355 PS and top performer E10 R with 475 Nm – the E10 R has a dry weight of a mere 700 kilograms. This vehicle is exceptionally reasonable with a "starting price" of less than 40,000 (approx. EUR 44,500), so that in most cases sufficient funds will be left for optional accessories.

The BILSTEIN B14 coilover suspension system is always on board, with its monotube upside-down technolgy, as well as high-quality surface treatment in Triple-C technology® serving as anti-corrosion protection. A special feature at Zenos is the combination of the BILSTEIN coilover shock absorber with motor sports springs from the Eibach ERS range. For those customers wanting something special, this small, but select English car maker can supply the coilover suspension BILSTEIN B16. This suspension has the same springs, but an even more complex shock absorber construction. Mechanical parallel adjustment of the rebound and compression stage in ten clearly palpable clicks makes extensive individual adjusting possible in addition to height adjustment - even when installed. Lightweight materials are used to construct the BILSTEIN B16, keeping the unsprung mass low.

Zenos E10 and models based on its design are also suitable for race tracks. The car is 100% assembled in Great Britain, and is now available in the USA, China and Japan. The manufacturer also offers hobby racers a track package. Find more information at: www.zenoscars.com/
